REDEMPTORIST BLESSING

 

In the name of Jesus Christ I bless you, soul and body.

 

I bless your bodies, your eyes, that they may see the beauty of God in the world; your ears, that they may hear the word of God; your tongues, that you may proclaim God's Kingdom in the world; your hands and your feet, that you may do the work of God in all things.

 

I bless the members of your family who could not be present today. May you all be together in Paradise. I bless the work of your life. Behave as you should towards God and He will give you every grace and blessing. I bless the air that you breathe, the ground that you walk on, the food that

you eat, everything that concerns you.

 

Above all, I bless your immortal souls, bought by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, I bless your minds and your will power that you may always choose Christ and the things of Christ.

 

I bless your steps to this church all your past confessions and Communions, your tears of sorrow and your smiles of joy, and as I bless you here on earth, may you be blessed in Heaven, in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
